What are the classification of automated warehouse?

In recent years, with the rapid development of China’s logistics industry and the continuous improvement of automation and informatization, all kinds of intelligent logistics equipment integrated with logistics information technology and automation technology are developing rapidly, among which the automated warehouse is a typical representative.Automated warehouse has been widely used in manufacturing enterprises because of its high efficiency. The storage system of manufacturing industry has gradually separated from the traditional deployment mode and developed to a more lean and intelligent direction.

At present, there are many kinds of classification methods for automated warehouse, and there are mainly the following in practical application.

The first is classified by shelf height

1. Low rise three-dimensional warehouse: the construction height of low rise three-dimensional warehouse is less than 5 meters, which is generally reconstructed through the old warehouse.

2. Middle level three-dimensional warehouse: the construction height of the middle level automatic three-dimensional warehouse is between 5 meters and 15 meters. The requirements of the warehouse for storage equipment are not very high, and the cost is reasonable, so it is favored by many users.

3. High rise three-dimensional warehouse: the height of high-rise can reach more than 15 meters, which requires higher storage machinery and equipment, and the construction is difficult.

The second is classified according to the form of goods access

1. Sorting rack type: the sorting mechanism is the core part of the sorting rack type, which is divided into two ways: in lane sorting and out of lane sorting.”Picking before arrival” means that the picker picks the required quantity of goods from the goods grid before taking the pick stacker to the arrival grid.”Goods picking at people’s place” means that the pallets or containers containing the required goods are transported from the stacker to the picking area, and the picking personnel pick out the required goods according to the requirements of the bill of lading, and then return the remaining goods to the original place.

2. Unit shelf: unit shelf is a common form of warehouse. The goods are first placed in pallets or containers, and then loaded into the location of the unit shelf.

3. Mobile shelf type: Mobile shelf type is composed of electric shelves, which can walk on the track, and the shelves are closed and separated by the control device. When working, the shelves can be separated and can be operated in the roadway; when not working, the shelves can be closed and only one working roadway is left, so as to improve the utilization rate of space.

The third is classified according to the shelf structure

1. Three dimensional warehouse of cargo format: the application scope of automated three-dimensional warehouse of cargo format is relatively wide. The main feature is that each shelf is composed of the same size of cargo grid, and the opening is facing the shelf channel, which is convenient for the stacker to drive and access goods.

2. Through type three-dimensional warehouse: there is no space between the shelves of the through type three-dimensional warehouse, there is no channel, the whole shelf combination is a whole. The shelves are longitudinally connected and have a certain slope. Slideways are installed on each layer of shelves to allow the goods to move along the slideways from high places.

3. Automatic cabinet type three-dimensional warehouse: the automatic warehouse is mainly suitable for small storage scale, mobile, and characterized by strong closeness, intelligence and confidentiality.

4. Strip rack stereoscopic warehouse: strip warehouse is mainly used to store strip goods.
