How to use epoxy resin glue

Epoxy resin is the general term for a class of polymers containing more than two epoxy groups in the molecule. It is a polycondensation product of epichlorohydrin and bisphenol A or polyol, and is the best bonding main material used in the adhesive industry. Epoxy resin adhesives are widely used and can bond various metals and alloys, ceramics, glass, wood, cardboard, plastics, concrete, stone, bamboo and other non-metallic materials. It can also be used for bonding between metal and non-metal materials. Pick up.

The classification of epoxy resin adhesives has not yet been unified. Generally, they are classified according to their strength, heat resistance grade and characteristics. There are 16 main types of epoxy resin adhesives, including general adhesives, structural adhesives, high temperature resistant adhesives, low temperature resistant adhesives, water and moisture 16 kinds of surface glue, conductive glue, optical glue, spot welding glue, epoxy resin film, styrofoam, strain glue, soft material bonding glue, sealant, special glue, latent curing glue, civil construction glue .

The use of epoxy resin glue is as follows:

  1. Use dry cotton cloth or sandpaper to remove dust, oil stains, rust, etc. on the bonding surface, and then wipe with a cleaning agent such as acetone or trichloroethylene to clean the bonding surface.

  2. Take the amount according to the ratio in the instruction manual, A and B agent, mix well after mixing, and then use; in order to ensure the effect of use, it can also be mixed in vacuum.

  3. Use up within the operable time range, otherwise it will solidify and cause waste of materials.

  4. After gluing, it can be cured at room temperature for 2-6 hours; at 40℃ it will be cured for 1-3 hours; ten days after sizing, the adhesion will be better. It should be heated to 15-25℃ for indoor use (this The information will vary according to the specific epoxy resin properties).
